Great Discoveries, a manifestation of the hegemony of Western European art, had particular result of the relatively rapid formation of vast colonial empires stand or exploitation. Then, the seventeenth to nineteenth e th century, various expansionist powers, while continuing their conquests, quarreled and fought in some areas of heavy conflict, many of which is global. From the late eighteenth century and the early nineteenth century e , many settlements broke with their metropolis and became independent (USA, Latin American republics). Various Ottoman provinces followed suit: Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Moldova. In the late nineteenth century, major European states were divided almost the rest of the world, particularly Africa (Berlin Conference, 1884-1885).
However, no thank you the control of colonial powers during the First and especially World War II led to a collapse of their prestige and power. Bled white, they were longer able to provide their territories overseas shareholders and executives whose abundance make a powerful state metropolis. To demonstrate the rapid progression of colonization from 1850 to 1939 (in 1913, the great empires (see for more detail, click here ) are made with few changes after the Great War) and especially the extent of the two great colonial empires, those of the United Kingdom and France, I suggest you take a look at the animation produced by the Academy Poitiers, particularly well done. What Is A Katydids Candy?

3 years!

Saturday we celebrated my little Gabriel, 3 years already, time is definitely too fast!

He grows, he learns a lot and talks constantly. Crises are rare, shorter and better things he asked he wants. It is polished, and the reflex to say for himself "if-you-please" "thank you", "pardon / sorry". It also has a big heart and a sense of shared surprising for his age!

Slowly, we are making progress in potty training is not easy and it's a long fight, but we take it one day at a time, without putting too much pressure him.

We begin to think about his future school (I know I'm early, but I have to say that these are my things as they prepare well in advance!). We chose a private school, from kindergarten, where the coaching, support and the curriculum are very famous in the region. Newly mixed, this school is the best option for us, even if it means great concession financially. I think it will be a gift of future we will do it well and we have the rest of our lives to pay for luxuries.
