Planet Marquinane newly colonized by the Earth Federation, is hosting the main continent on several mining consortiums eager to exploit its abundant wealth. The second continent is reserved for indigenous life forms (Act planetary colonization, Federal Decree 5676678-00987) to protect them from the greed of speculators.
The first scenario is a prologue that will launch the campaign.
A secret research base was located in a remote area of the first continent. The consortium will conduct studies Artanson a devastating ore properties, the cardamium. A commando goes on the attack at night to recover the ore sample.
The guards of the consortium are Artanson REP 3 or 4 with Assault Rifle (PDF Star Army QRF). Five are on duty at the time of the attack.
A dozen commandos in 3 Fireteams are deployed around the base. Each includes a fireteam leader (EPR 5) and 3 soldiers (REP 4) armed with Assault Rifle (COG QRF).

To avoid repeating the mistakes of the previous section I deploy my troops carefully studying the lines of sight. At night the guards can not see beyond 12 "while the commandos are equipped of infrared goggles and silencers.
A random event precipitates a little operation. a pebble rolls and attracts the attention of a guard who comes to see. This triggers the firing of all teams. Three guards were affected, two take refuge in the Lab 1 (Runaway), they will be captured soon after. The commandos searched the two labs, eliminate the guards and recover the cardamium surprised. The operation went smoothly. The guards did not fire a shot ... and ninjas vanish into the night.
